Sharing health insurance updates with members of the Community System to End TB (CSET)

In March 2025, the Health and Social Protection and Community Support organized a series of online health insurance sessions. These sessions brought together members of the Community System to End Tuberculosis (CSET) from 3 provinces: Gia Lai, Hai Phong, and Nghe An. The goal was to provide the latest health insurance policy updates and address challenges CSET members and SCDI staff face in their community support efforts.

The sessions featured Dr. Phan Van Toan, former Deputy Director of the Health Insurance Department – Ministry of Health. With extensive experience in health insurance and a practical, approachable presentation style, Dr. Toan provided valuable policy updates and answered participants' concerns.

This initiative is part of SCDI’s ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities and advance the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) goal. Beyond knowledge-sharing, these sessions fostered stronger connections and experience-sharing among community groups, laying a solid foundation for more effective future operations.
