SCDI presents to readers the outstanding activities of Health and Social Security and Children and Youth program in September 2023

SCDI continues to implement TB screening activities in Krong Pac district, Dak Lak

Children are one of the most vulnerable, overlooked groups with TB. So, children living in families where someone has been infected with TB, or is at high risk of TB, will be encouraged by the CSET network (Community System to End TB) for their families to send them for screening. TB affects a child's health and future, but it is completely preventable and treatable. Parents should be equipped with basic TB information and proactively take their children for TB/potential TB screening when at risk.

Mid-Autumn Festival with children of “Breaking the Cycle” project

In Hanoi, they made their own lovely sticky rice mooncake for family and friends. Life at Navigos Group staff sent each of them a small gift and Wowpik prepared more toys for the younger siblings of some children in the project. In Hai Phong, SCDI office and community groups visited families bringing gifts sent by Hasbro Haiphong. In Ho Chi Minh City, volunteers elaborately staged a mini cinema to tell the children about the Mid-Autumn Festival event.
